Topeka, Kansas native Chu-Cho is back with a new music video, “Goodlife,” bringing his original, old-school sound to the forefront. Chu-Cho has always had an ear for music. Growing up, he experimented with different instruments, but it wasn’t until 2010 that he started creating his own music. While crafting a memorial song for his late grandfather, Chu-Cho tapped into his creative reserve, which lit the spark inside him. From that day on, he’s been writing his own music.
In “Goodlife,” Chu-Cho celebrates enjoying life regardless of the trials and tribulations we go through every day. Reminiscent of the great Roger Troutman, Chu-Cho even blends elements of the talkbox in some of his tracks without sounding dated or old-fashioned. He has found a way to stay true to the classics while updating them for the newest generation. With his dynamic stage presence, Chu-Cho’s performances are loud and vibrant, packed with positive energy and good vibes.
